Called to Serve.

  • Kevin has served as Lead Pastor at Gympie Church of Christ since 2018. He has a deep love for Jesus, the local church, and sharing God’s Word. With 20 years of ministry experience, Kevin began his journey working with youth and young adults. He holds a Masters in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree in ministry from LeTourneau University. Kevin moved to Australia in 2011, where he met his wife and together they have 3 children; initially serving in Brisbane before being called to Gympie.

Staff

  • Our dedicated staff includes Administrator Laura McAllister and Children’s Ministry Coordinator Beth Bryers. Both are passionate about using their unique skills, talents, and gifts to serve others. Laura and Beth are committed to helping people find the forgiveness, love, and freedom found in Jesus.

Elders

  • Our elders share a heart that loves Jesus and loves people. Praying through the vision God has for this church to reach the city for Jesus. Elders shepherd the flock and are there to bring spiritual direction and oversight. The Elders meet regularly to discuss church issues and to pray for everyone in the church. Having a servant heart for the church, they love seeing spiritual growth in the lives of others.

Management
& Leadership

  • The Management Team oversees the budget and finances of the church. This team takes the role of stewarding the resources seriously, knowing that people are not giving money to the church, but to God. This team also oversees governance and makes sure the church carries out the mission to save the city. 

    In addition to the Senior Pastor, Elders, Management Team, and Staff, our we also have various ministry group coordinators, team leaders and study/life group leaders overseeing their areas.

Our Church Family.
